Thank you again for responding to my comment. My daughter has gone to the county and applied for emergency assistance and aid. I pray that they will give it to her because our deadline is by the end of this week. God is good and I have faith it will be okay. I have been trying to apply for long term unsecured loans to get myself out of this mess, but of course my credit score is 525 so it,s poor. Lord knows I am scared to lose everything I worked so hard for by myself, but unfortunately this is life at least for me ans I am know stranger to a hard life.

My daughter turned 18 in May and was considered my dependent up until that point and she would not qualify for assistance.  So in the meantime I used a range of payday advances to cover our expenses. I was trying to make it till income tax time so I could make up for everything which is still the plan. I will probably lose some things, but I have faith that it will work out. My daughter does plan to get a job and is looking to get assistance from the county, however these things are taking some time. I thank you for the comment and we are definitely looking into it.

Why isn't your daughter working?

She may be able to receive benefits for herself and her child through social services even though you were denied.., Also she should be receiving child support for her baby as well. And she should apply for WIC... Technically seh is a legal adult and not your dependent therefore, she may qualify for some if not all of the above mentioned services.

I Sincerely need assistance with my rent ($1,036) for the month of August primarily because I am the sole provider of two dependents (daughter 18yr/grandson 1yr), with my one source of income (I don't qualify for county assistance or TANF), from Walgreens in which I have been employed with for 7 years. As a result of my grandson being born, I have incurred a lot of additional expenses that I didn't have prior to his arrival when I was able to maintain paying my rent and getting back and forth to work, paying for food and toiletries, just bare necessities. Eventhough I am in jeopardy of losing my direct deposit and checking account that I have maintained for three years, it is nothing in comparison to losing our apartment and becoming homeless. I am truly thankful for your viewing and any assistance I may be given.

I really need help in paying my rent. I am currently heavily backed up on my rent payments. In the peak of our financial recession, my husband lost his job and has been unemployed for several months now. To make matter worsts, he recently has decided to leave home; thus further leaving me to feed my daughter and myself. My daughter is currently a high school senior at the top of her class, who wishes to pursue a college education. Unfortunately, with our current financial situation; it is hard to guarantee her that she will be attending college in the fall of 2010. So with all of this said, here I am behind 2 months rent, asking if anyone would could assist me and my daughter. My family and I would really appreciate any help. Thank you and God Bless.

I am a part time student, and working full time my wages have been garnished for old medical bills and I am now approximately $900 behind on rent. They are going to file for eviction tomorrow if I'm not able to come up with the balance, I have no one to borrow from and no way to get that amount of money in time. I need to find help as soon as possible.

I am a working woman trying to support 6 on $165.00 (after taxes) a week.  I have fallen behind on my rent.  My daughter lived with us when we moved in.  She moved out and had a baby, she and the baby and the boyfriend needed somewhere to live so of course I said you can come home.  My landlord found out they moved back in and has now raised my rent.  I am as of now $950.00 behind, come the first he wants the rent for November and the balance.  There is no way I can come up with that much money in such a short period of time.  He said I either have it or they will take legal matters.  What can I do?  HELP!!!
